Its a wooden fruit crate and although it can be used for fruit storage most people today use them for a multitude of other reasons. Toy boxes, shelving units, coffee tables, book cases, and so on
 
Hand crafted in our workshop/showroom on a farm just outside the village of Yoxall in Staffordshire
 
Our crates are strongly made using good quality timber from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified timber, meaning it is harvested from forests managed according to strict environmental, social and economic standards
 
The crates are sanded but left with a natural finish and can be stained, painted or left as they come

Depth 31cm (12 ¼”)
 
The timber we reclaim, and salvage would mostly be chipped and either burnt or composted we put it to good use with care and love and are hopefully doing our bit to make the world a better place to live in
