Village on the round
 
So we had a two inch log and one of the lads in the workshop said lets put some little house on it and make a village. A few hours later it didn’t seem like a daft idea at all. Handmade from randomly painted wooden blocks which are then sanded off to achieve a lovely chalky finish, stuck on a sanded and waxed flat log. Voila! Tiny village on a log.
 
Lovingly made and crafted entirely from recycled metal and timber in our workshop/showroom on a farm just outside the little village of Yoxall in Staffordshire
 
This little hamlet roughly measures:
 
Diameter 22cm (8½”)
Height 26cm (10¼")

 
The timber we reclaim, and salvage would mostly be chipped and either burnt or composted we put it to good use with care and love and are hopefully doing our bit to make the world a better place to live in
